The conference held at Shillong Club on February 15-16, 2025 was attended
by about 100 delegates. It was a well organised conference by Bansara Eye
Care Centre team under the leadership of Dr Jennifer Basaiawmoit.
Hon’ble Governor of Meghalaya, Shri C. H. Vijaya Shankar inaugurated the
conference. The didactic lectures as well as competative session for PG
students were appreciated by one and all. Hands on training (Wet Lab) was
also imparted in various techniques of cataract surgeries.

The conference held at Hotel Le Royal Meridian on 23^rd Feb2025 was attended by about 200 delegates.  It was a well organised conference by Rajan Eye Care Hospital Pvt Ltd in association with Madras City Ophthalmologists’ Association.  The chief guest for the inauguration ceremony was Dr M S Ravindra while Dr Neeta Dodwad was guest of honour. The didactic lectures as well as competative session for PG students were appreciated by one and all. Hands on training (Wet Lab) was also imparted in various techniques of cataract surgeries and in evaluation with various diagnostic equipments.

Report: A 75 minute Instruction course on MSICS started with a brief introduction on ISMSICS by Dr BNR Subudhi. This was followed by keynote address by none other than Dr Debashish Bhattacharjee and Dr NSD Raju highlighting the necessity of MSICS in todays scenario. This was followed by wonderful video presentations by all the six speakers which was highly appreciated by the audience. A wonderful discussion followed this. The course was conducted by Dr Jayashree Baruah as the chief instructor. This was followed by wet lab session for postgraduates. We had a very enthusiastic crowd at wet lab.
